Newburgh Sophomore Explores Legacy of the Holocaust

In the Spring of 2008, I took a nine credit learning community focusing on Judaism and the Holocaust. The main part of the learning community was a twelve day trip to Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic where my classmates and I saw the atrocious sites, but also how the Jewish community in Eastern Europe has rebuilt since World War II. An article I wrote on the trip was published in my school newspaper, The Summit, as well as my hometown newspaper, The Times Herald Record.
